New Style Draughts
So happy that the patch has finally gone through. Really feel like I have been in limbo with my tanking gear. Now I can really look at it properly. Also fantastic that if I am DPS'ing and have to switch quickly to tanking, I have almost as much armor as in my full bear gear! Really makes us more flexible again. -RareBeast: What are you trying to tell me? That I can out-tank & out-D...
a few quick tips: 1. Keep your pet on Passive 2. If you're jumping over a ledge, put your pet on stay, or dismiss it. If it's on follow, it'll take the long way around, and aggro whatever is in its way. 3. If your party has a main tank, keep Cower on, and Growl off. Any pet can learn Cower, but you'll have to learn it from the wild. It'll keep aggro off of your pet, and on the tank. Check out This website for a list of what monsters have cower. 4. If it is decided that you'll be the off-tank, make sure you have Distracting Shot on your skill bar, and if you're BM, have intimidate as well. Edit: turn cower off and growl on to do that! 5. Watch the squishy cloth-wearers. Let them mess up first, and be the hero by getting the mobs off them, lol. 6. Don't use too much mana. Sure, it raises your DPS if you have super shot rotations, but if you're using up all your cooldowns and mana on small mobs, you'll regret it when you NEED to use those special shots. A few Arcane shots here and there, and a concussive shot on a monster that tends to flee is good enough. Edited, Feb 6th 2007 1:46am by 80 Nigh...

In my group a hunter without a pet is an instant /kick. There is no reason for a hunter to not have a pet out. What level range? I have noticed that the majority of low level toons (that arent some 70s alt) are very very clueless. I hear all the time by hunters, "my pet died and i havent found another" or some crap like that. I always refer people to these boards. No matter what class they are f-ing up, they usually can be by coming here. Hyrdo edit just saw your charcters levels. Yep, you are in that range buddy....
isyris wrote:Yuppley wrote:READ THE @ING STICKY. PICK YOUR MELEE WEAPON BY ITS STATS ONLY. Yuppley is correct, as usual. Melee weapon DPS does not matter for a Hunter at all, because a Hunter should never be DPSing in melee. Ever. So one would assume then that your melee weapons have never EVER, at all, at any time, in no way, under no circumstances, been used? Gosh, that makes you rather impressive. I want to be you. I mean.... you have never engaged in melee!!!!! Even levels 1 - 10? WOW!!!!! You are truly a Goddess among Hunters. And perhaps some peeps could READ THE F$KIN OP'S POST PROPERLY and understand he is asking for opinions of others. the sticky is the opinion of the person who wrote it, not the general alla population. More and more lately I have been reading answers to peoples questions and those answers all appear to say Read the f-ing sticky or If you dont know then dont play!!! The majority of this forum USED to be sensible and polite and able to hold their patience with Newby questions. Now it appears an awful lot of impatient Elitist twonks are appearing and trying to be the greatest ever Put down poster or King flamer. Yuppley you acted like a dck, give the guy a break, try saying, "You will find all the answers you need i...
Eurogamer is running a feature about what they call "frontier" MMOs, games that are on the fringe of a market flooded with attempts to replicate the success of Everquest and World of Warcraft. Many publishers already have more MMO projects than they know what to do with, and often leave the more unusual and unique games out in the cold, preferring to stick with familiar IP or a tried-and-t...
With 3 lks you guys should be able to geturator down before the 3rd evate. My guild has done it with two and downed him in about 4 minutes. Make sure you all hiturse of Doom 55-50 sonds before Evate, and have all dps make a target Astral Flare mro and spam those flares with a fastasting spell. My guild has the lks use Searing Pain sie Shadowbolt is too long of aast. Mages (I think) are using oh. And everyone should get Deadly Boss ModsBigWigs so they have a little window that alerts them if they are toolose to another person, that way no one gets the aane bolts from the sparks bouing off oneharter and onto...
But how do you work this thing?
The user interface is often a deciding factor in the user's enjoyment of a title and Turbine hasn't been asleep at the wheel in this department. The basic layout should be familiar to most players by now, as it appears to have been heavily influenced by World of Warcraft. Your typical portrait and status bars reside in the upper left, mini-map at the upper right, chat interface on the lower left, and various and assorted icons at the bottom. One nice improvement is the reactive hotbars. Instead of displaying row upon row of icons (though this is an option), additional rows are only shown when pressing the corresponding hotkey. For example, if you had an attack bound to Ctrl+1, the Ctrl hotbar only appears when the key is depressed.
In a similar fashion, the pet control bar is only visible when a pet has been summoned. You have access to the typical modes: guard, follow, attack, as well as a nicely implemented mode named Assist. When this mode is toggled, pets will attack the target their owner attacks, when the owner attacks. Pets are also smart enough to stop attacking should a player opt to attempt crowd control. Lastly, pet-specific skills and abilities, such as debuffs, special attacks, or damage spells, are available on this bar as well, though some are locked until the pet has reached the appropriate level, along with its owner.
The mini-map is also functional and quite useful. Quest-related NPCs have a handy ring icon denoting their position. If they're inside of a building or in another zone, the ring will appear at the zone-line. Trainers, merchants,...
Never before has Philippine labor had such negotiating power. Call center recruits are now being offered signing bonuses before they start work. Employees are given bonuses for finding new recruits - more often than not poached from other call centers. The explosive growth of business process outsourcing (BPO) has plugged the economy of the Philippines into the global services industry, raising high new hopes about the country's economic prospects. Just 10 years ago, economic analysts and pundits concurred that the future of the predominantly agrarian economy lay in exporting fruit, seafood, garments, low-end electronics, and people – due primarily to cheap labor in the Philippines. Nowadays, Filipino workers are increasingly doing the information technology enabled services (ITES) once held by middle-income-earning Americans, landing jobs in everything from accounting, payroll processing, credit-card administration, revenue management, database management, supply-chain management, and business intelligence to long-distance warehouse and inventory management. In the first four months of this year, about 14 more companies are coming in, two of them call centers, and the rest back-office processing. That's a good sign because clients don't really need very, very good English speakers, but rather individuals with technical backgrounds and good written English, which the Philippines has an adequate supply of. That is exactly how big multinational companies view the situation, particularly as other global English-speaking countries vie for a share of ou...
World of Warcraft gold farming tips are essential to the serious player of this massive multiplayer role playing online game. While gold farming is one of the more challenging aspects of the game, it is also one of the most exciting endeavors. Gold is the best of the best when it comes to the in-game money exchange system. Having a fair amount of gold will allow you to purchase items that can enhance your in-game character's armor, weapons, skills, professions, and more! Here, I will share with you some of the well guarded World of Warcraft gold farming tips.Auction House RunnerOne of the best ways to make gold in WoW is to develop a character that will serve as what I like to refer to as an "Auction House Runner". This character should be one that is low level. You will place them next to an auction house and mailbox in the game. As you work to acquire loot with your other characters, you will ship these items over to the runner. The runner will then take those items and place them in the auction house. As the items sell in the game, the runner will then go back to the mailbox and ship out the gold to all of your other characters. This is a great way to save time, and build your gold instantly!ProfessionsA great way to farm World of Warcraft gold is to focus on your professions. Most of what you can make within certain professions can be sold at the in-game auction house, and to the vendors that are located throughout the game. Fu...
